Google is about to get replaced but they still have time to get their heads out of their *sses. Perplexity ai is outperforming google search as a way to get answers and search results. Meanwhile google is so terrified of getting sued and jeapardizing it's revenue driver (google ads), they are scared of experimentation. Early adopters are already hardcore users of AI searchengines like perplexity. If google doesn't start innovating quickly with AI, us marketers will start playing the SEO and advertisement game on Perplexity soon... Perplexity's owner already announced they are trying to crack the ad revenue game...

Everyone at @Kit got a raise today. We updated our standardized salaries to the latest data & moved from the 75th to 80th percentile. For those where the data didn't increase we gave a minimum 4% raise. It's crazy to increase payroll by $1m+ in a single day, but they earned it!

#3: On the rewards (besides money) of building your business: "The most important thing to realize in this endeavor is that your life will never be the same again. It sounds dramatic, but it's true. In my opinion, I've never worked as hard as I worked. The thing is it hasn't even felt like work though, but I haven't had as little free time as I have right now. But it's rewarding in a different way, where I'm like building this baby. And the amount of time you have to spend on it is a lot. But the rewards are also there. And so now suddenly business feels easy and I get the appreciation both from my clients and in terms of money in my account. It feels great. But I would definitely wouldn't recommend anyone this who's looking for a quick solution, who's not motivated, who's not disciplined, who has a low attention span and has shiny object syndrome. Just going after what the next Instagram influencer says you should do."

#2. On the value of learning from not just one, but multiple mentors: "mentors in general are so useful. Because. I'm not trying to do everything myself. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel. I'm trying to learn from people who have done what I do. So in the group calls, in the weekly group calls, there's always somebody who has been through your exact problem. And the cool thing is there's not just one person who's been doing what you've been doing. There's five different people who each have their own style of solution. And you can run your problem through each of these five people and get their take on it. And some of them have different takes and they all work, they're all successful and it's up to you to take personal responsibility for your problem and to figure out which one of these five people you want to to go with. And you can change your mind as well. That's the beauty of it as well. It offers a crazy good support network of people who have done it before and are there to help you."

#3. On how implementing multiple small changes to scale your agency to an incredibly new level: “A couple of real life examples were, I wasn't charging enough. And in a few of the calls, the guys on some of the calls were like, Hey, you know, you should be charging double. And, and another, another massive thing that I was told is to add a service. You know, why wouldn't I add that service? And they just make you question things. And when I put all those things together. Like increasing my charge, my monthly retainer, adding a certain service that I should have. Just little things that, when I put all those together, I started booking more sales, booking more clients. And I wasn't only booking more clients. I was booking them at a higher retainer. So it kind of came double. Like, I was not only booking more, but the price was going up, and that's when the revenue started increasing.”

#2. Not only willing to put in the work, but also to listen and learn from others ahead of you: “I often did things alone. And in my entrepreneurial life, I was always doing things alone. I was reading books and I was doing things the hard way, really. But once I joined BMI, that's when I excelled. Like it just happened. I can't believe it myself, in all honesty, that I doubled revenue almost in the first three months. And it's because I listened to what they were telling me. And there was just so much gold in there. Some of the sales calls are incredible, and they were just little things like, that were just very simple but perfect. I was able to stand on the shoulders of giants. Because these guys are already doing it.”

2. On implementing proven tactics from business peers: "Basically you see and meet with other people who are successfully implementing the BMI learnings. And they are making results. So it not only gives you confidence that you are on the right path. But also it helps you to validate the results. And validate what kind of results can you get if you implement the teachings of the team."

3. On working with the right clients to increase profit margins: "I work a lot with clients that are, higher ticket clients. So it's much easier to maintain a high profit margin when you work with a few clients that are great and they pay you a lot and you have a very small and clean team. Rather than having a large team of, let's say, 10 people and maybe 50 to 100 clients."

2. On next business goals after scaling Revenue: "And once I do that, I will probably downscale, automate, just so that the agency doesn't take up as much time. And I will then look into other business models that I can scale past what I'm currently doing. Not that I cannot scale the agency past that point, but I'm just more interested in other ventures that I have in mind."
