Było o poległych Rosjanach to teraz o poległych Ukraińcach. Skatalogowano 97 tys znanych z imienia i nazwiska poległych żołnierzy SZU. Do tego obecnie w rosyjskiej niewoli znajduje się około 4 tys jeńców. Największym problemem jest pewna "czarna liczba" zaginionych która wynosi aż 95 tys. W tym przypadku mówimy o trzech kategoriach zawartych w niej: - zabici ale niezidentyfikowani - jeńcy rosyjscy nie podani do informacji stronie ukraińskiej - dezerterzy z jednostek liniowych którzy uciekli i ukrywają się. Tutaj warto napisać że dezercji z SZU (dezercji nie samowolnych oddaleń) było ponad 316 tys od 2022 roku. Przy czym zdecydowana większość przed wcieleniem do jednostek SZU. W samym zeszłym roku dezercji z jednostek w obliczu wroga było za drugie półroczne łącznie ponad 40 tys. Można zatem spróbować ostrożnie szacować że około połowa z zaginionych to żołnierze którzy polegli. Sumarycznie prowadziłoby to do szacunku o 140-150 tys poległych żołnierzy SZU i przy ubytku osobowym rzędu minimum pół miliona. Tutaj warto nadmienić że liczba rannych do zabitych jest znacznie wyższa na Ukrainie co wynika z dobrego przeszkolenia żołnierzy z czerwonej taktyki oraz dbania o ewakuację medyczną i pomoc rannym. Coś co w Rosji jest bardzo sporadyczne w SZU jest absolutnie podstawową sprawą - dlatego wielu Ukraińców przeżywa ranienie. Zależności od miejsca walk i czasu od 5 do 9 rannych na 1 zabitego. Przy czym nie oznacza to że tych 5-9 wymaga demobilizacji, na szczęście dla SZU proporcja ciężko rannych do zabitych jest znacznie korzystniejsza - jakkolwiek by to brutalnie nie brzmiało. W każdym razie polegli Rosja vs Ukraina: 440-450 tys vs 140 - 150 tys. (wartości minimalne) zdemobilizowani z powodu ran Rosja vs Ukraina 1 mln vs 500 tys (wartość bardzo szacunkowa) .

Russia escalating loss in influence is getting more and more obvious by the day. Three current developments in the Far East underscore this self-inflicted wound: 1.) China stopped Russian electricity imports since January 2026. This is confirmed by Reuters and Kommersant. It stems from a 42% price surge in Russia's Far East due to deregulation, breaching contract minimums and exposing grid decay from war-diverted funds. 2.) The Power of Siberia 2 pipeline remains stalled without a final investment decision, as China demands subsidized domestic gas prices - around $130 per 1,000 cubic meters - while Mongolia excluded the project from its 2024-2028 development plan, complicating transit. 3.) Gazprom's premature construction of a 410km Siberian section of Power of Siberia 2 reflects Russia's vulnerability, with Gazprom facing renewed losses from unsold Yamal gas after Europe's rejection. Europe will phase out Russian gas by the end of 2027, altogether. Natural gas prices in Europe have already reached pre-war levels. It underscores Russia’s failed "pivot to East" policy as Beijing dictates terms which not only pale in comparison to the lucrative deals Russia had with Europe, but also reduces Russia to a highly dependent vassal state which in the end will have to concede to Beijing demands.

Un an et demi auparavant, en septembre 2024, c'était l'aéroport de Bamako qui était attaqué par le JNIM, faisant de nombreuses victimes parmi les cadets de l'armée et détruisant plusieurs avions, dont l'avion présidentiel.
