@WuBlockchain @benbybit He conveniently omitted the fact they got hacked for >$1bn so have to cut back on “sponsorships”

Bybit CEO Ben: Why We Didn't Renew the F1 Sponsorship In an April 23 interview with When Shift Happens, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou @benbybit explained why the company did not renew its Red Bull F1 sponsorship. He said the commercial value of F1 sponsorship had been declining year by year, while the cost of activating all the sponsorship rights kept rising. Maintaining the execution team alone could cost far more than the sponsorship fee, making a renewal unlikely to break even. Zhou also noted that the same guests were often invited every year, which created "relationship management" issues and made some people expect to be invited. Bybit is now looking for a branding opportunity with better value.

Whoever gets Iraola will be making the most exciting signing of the summer. Free, great football with a poundland squad. Yes there is risk but Klopp was a risk and Iraola has done it year after year and rebuilt teams in the Prem

As a Singaporean 🇸🇬 I’m always the most proud of my national carrier @SingaporeAir. Sadly this wasn’t one of those times. I take a LOT of flights every year and a large number of those are on SQ. Dirty seats. Chocolate wrapper stuck in the seat table and another in the chair seam. Poor service recovery. On an 18 hour flight from New York to Singapore. Even on the lowest of low cost carriers I’ve not experienced this. Followed up with customer service after the flight. Their offer? 7500 miles ($100) and NDA so I never speak about this again. Told them to shove it. Loyalty should go both ways. I hope SQ reclaims best airline in the world one day the way Lee Kuan Yew envisioned but this is not it.

South Korea and Taiwan economies are both insanely well positioned for the new paradigm. Full western supply chain integration, full access to mainland manufacturing, low birth rate and immigration so no welfare burden, self-referential pop culture so no pressure to go overseas, no dependence on tourism.

1/10 We've been investigating the @DriftProtocol exploit ($285M) since April 1. We can confirm along with TRM Labs and Elliptic that North Korea's Lazarus Group (TraderTraitor). Same unit behind Bybit ($1.5B), Ronin ($625M). Was involved. Here's what our independent on-chain forensics uncovered that hasn't been published.

England are not in the class of France, Argentina or Spain. But they do have some exceptional talent. Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane are world class. So is John Stones - at his best. Trent Alexander-Arnold is world class - in possession. Declan Rice is having the season of his life. There are more reasons to be positive going into this tournament than negative. But England have to be bold and play to their strengths.  Imagine if England were bold and, if all fit, went into the World Cup… Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Stones, Guehi, O’Reilly; Anderson, Rice; Saka, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane.  Stones would have some covering to do of Alexander-Arnold when he raced upfield. Bellingham gets heavily scrutinised but he’s a big-game player, a winner and used to pressure at Real Madrid. He has to start. England also have an exceptional head coach in Thomas Tuchel who can make the right changes at the right time. England have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of the World Cup and then anything’s possible. But only if they are bold. Not gung-ho. But bold. Risk/reward. #ENG

i really want to believe that NYT is trustworthy but that has become nearly impossible the whole framing of this new crypto story (yet again) relies on the (false) premise that the prior admin’s attack on crypto totally normal it wasn’t the attack was widely rebuked for years — by bipartisan members of congress, by federal courts, by basically anyone that wasn’t part of a small cabal of elizabeth warren-aligned officials. mainstream democrats never took up her cause. one time the dem senate voted overwhelmingly to overturn an insane SEC policy and biden was forced to VETO it these partisans, who often owed their jobs to a deal struck between biden and warren during the 2020 campaign (widely reported) included consequential appointees in the biden admin who previously worked directly for her, or those who she personally approved. these partisans included staffers for regulators who immediately went to warren-aligned non-profits like better markets and the consumer federation of america. these included entrenched officials inside banking regulators, who have now been exposed for inappropriately targeting legal industries so the idea that the regulatory pivot on crypto over the last year is somehow because of the president’s personal interest, and not because the prior regulatory posture was absolutely INSANE, is dishonest framing that ignores 4 years of direct attacks by the actual partisans this type of reporting relies on the readership being uninformed, which unfortunately too many are. this relies on Gell-Mann Amnesia and the “paper of record” is actively promoting crypto dementia

Impossible to get much done quickly with western corps in crypto. You get added to a chat with 30+ people, none of whom take responsibility over getting shit done. None of them know who's doing what and weeks simply go by without work getting done. Custodians and PBs mainly
