If you trace the roots of the chaos unfolding in the country today, it almost always leads back to Bongbong Marcos.

Means: control of the police, NBI, and military. Opportunity: chaos from the Senate leadership change. Motive: remove Alan Peter Cayetano and reinstall Tito Sotto to help push a weak impeachment case. Short answer: Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Law enforcement? NBI? Kala ko ba walang NBI during that time sabi ni Bongbong Marcos Jr.?

Senators who casually acknowledge a foreign arrest warrant without emphasizing Philippine constitutional process should not be the ones crafting our laws. Should not be a senator of the republic.. The Philippine Constitution is the supreme law of the land, not subordinate to foreign entities. Any foreign process affecting a Filipino citizen must still pass through proper Philippine legal validation and due process. That is the duty of lawmakers: to defend the integrity of our legal system, not weaken it through selective interpretation driven by politics. If our own senators forget that constitutional safeguards come first, then they are undermining the very sovereignty they swore to protect.

I can’t believe this still has to be said: no one can truly tame Bongbong Marcos. If you think aligning with him will advance your political ambitions, you are gravely mistaken. A snake bites by nature, whether you’re an ally or an enemy.

Why isn’t Philippine mainstream media asking why Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, and other minority senators left the Senate before the shooting, despite reports the impeachment articles were arriving? They seemed eager for it, yet suddenly left before the incident. 🧐

I like the demeanor of Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano right now combative and unafraid to confront Tito Sotto and Ping Lacson head-on. If he’s serious about accountability, he should reopen the Blue Ribbon flood control corruption probe and revisit the “18 Marines” issue.
