@Jon_Mackenzie Might be connected with/a form of that weird "if you're tactically dominant, you have to destroy the opponent, but if you don't try anything, it's sort of fine to just keep it close for a while" thing. Should be the other way around. If you play ugly, at least win convincingly?

There's a phenomenon rn where coaches who are regarded as good tacticians get more harshly judged than coaches who are not (regardless of how accurate the assesments of these coaches are) and I'm wondering if Nagelsmann's Germany will experience this phenemon through the Euros.

Against passive opponents, it works much better for us. These teams shift less aggressively towards the ball – some also just have less lines to defend compared to pressing teams - so it is easier for us to create overloads that we can play through.

journalistisch aktiv sein möchte, dann am liebsten bei der Wiener Zeitung ist. Dieses Blatt sterben zu lassen, halte ich für einen großen Fehler. Das Ende der Wiener Zeitung ist ein Skandal.
