A record week on @BigTenNetwork! The 2026 @TIAA @B1GMBBall Tournament was the most watched in network history.
🏀 This year’s tournament averaged 706,000 viewers across 10 games on BTN, up +28% year-over-year, and besting the 2024 tournament’s previous record.
🏀 Friday’s quarterfinal round averaged 1,047,000 viewers across four games, marking a +66% year-over-year increase.

These days, there are thousands of live college sports available to watch.
Through @BigTenNetwork's StudentU program, hundreds of students are calling replays, switching cameras, and directing live game coverage on more than 2,000 events streaming each year on @BigTenPlus.

What these 18 programs do on a nightly basis is incredible and so are the broadcasts they produce. But there is nothing I'm more proud of @BigTenNetwork than the talented people coming from the 18 on-campus programs who make their way to BTN and other networks in this industry. They are the backbone of this company and just plain awesome to be working with every single day!

Saddened beyond words. A great person who was incredible in his many roles within the College Basketball community throughout his career. Can't thank him enough for all he did for the Big Ten Network and me personally. The season won't be the same without him.
