this is the next big thing we're planning on the infra side.
heroku pretty much threw their hands up in the air recently, so we're assuming they're moving on from indie builders like us. it's been a good run though; heroku was how i got my feet wet with deploying apps. i guess everything has its run until it eventually fades away. :)

Step 1 in moving off of @heroku which we've been using for more than a decade. End of an era. I wish more PaaS tools copied some of Herokus UX because it's honestly pretty good.

Response latencies for @Hookdeck's new search API for queries on payload attributes (body or headers). Some of these queries are operating on over 1B rows of schemaless JSON. Insane 🤩

Webhook payloads are uniquely difficult: there's no shared schema, no predictable structure, and they can be several megabytes in size.
We had to design a cost-effective system capable of finding specific values in terabytes of schema-less data.
