Just got home after an incredible @Shopify editions.dev week 🎉 This time last year, I'd just gone full time on my apps after Checkout Blocks was acquired. I couldn't imagine a year later being recognised with the Community Build Award. It's so surreal & amazing. 🤯

@TalktoHenryJ It was free now Iran wants a toll and the US now too? Also breaks the whole values on freedom of navigation which the US and the rest of world has agreed on a principle for economic growth worldwide since WW2. It's really sad to see

And there is the deescalation for anyone paying attention. The U.S. will now agree that Iran can charge a 3-5% tax and everyone will now feel happy that its not 20%. Are we not now all use to this same plan over and over? lol

@jzazove @ShopifyDevs No, I was on Managed Billing across them all before, now on Shopify App Pricing across them all too 🙂 There is a warning saying I've got 2 private plans which cannot be migrated to Manual Billing but thats its

Not sure what's happening with @ShopifyDevs (Shopify App Pricing). 2 apps have this setting which is awesome to see this back, but other apps don't have it? Is it being partially rolled out? 🤔

Finding the right replacement, setting up new processes and training your team all takes time (and that clock is ticking). Given the impending deadline, I thought it would be helpful to map out how to replace key Stocky workflows... (2 of 3)

@faridmovsumov @ShopifyDevs If you go into Pricing Details in distribution, and select your plans, it should be there now! But its not there for all of my apps so not sure on the rollout

I feel like I want to schedule a weekly call with other devs just for people to show their agentic work flow. Everyone is doing different things and I’m sure there’s so much to learn. Literally just having a weekly call with @jamesrp13 has put onto the power of loops and I have been going crazy with them… but I’m curious what else is out there that I’m missing? Can I be more efficient my tokens? Can I be getting featured out quicker? I’m sure I can but I’m not sure I have the imagination… would love to learn from others.

workflows now supports dynamic retry functions on step.do() if your retry behavior depends on the failure (i.e. a downstream API returns a Retry-After value due to rate limiting)… you can now define its behavior with a `delay` function accordingly

@jzazove Does that mean that dev stores that install the app won't have to pay (automatically)? Please 🙏 Or is it a setting? I didn't quite understand the third bullet in the announcement and couldn't see a setting in my pricing setups
