So many Americans are profoundly ignorant of their own history. And the world wars have nothing to do with NATO. The war against Iran has nothing to do with NATO. The only time article 5 was used was by the USA and its NATO (and other) allies came armed to support it.

If NATO won’t serve the interest of the USA, the USA should not allow NATO to rely on us for their defense.
NATO without America doesn’t exist. It’s a racket created so that Europe can rely on Americans to defend them if they get into some deep shit.
