Charlton are a prime example of what good, suitable recruitment looks like without spending recklessly. They didn't set the world on fire spending stupid amounts, but they came up and realised how tough the league would be, got in players they knew would be up to a good level, no bullshit cheap risks. straight down to business, and now they're likely going to be pushing playoffs this season.
