@AlexEKoren yeah sink or swim based on quality of content, and LLMs will spit out sources. dunno if the sources thing will become a legal issue before they are forced to provide them. it’s in LLM interest to have good sources.

chatGPT becomes defacto “search engine” with mobile app release, what happens to business models focusing on SEO, ad revenue, & amazon associates? does that not stunt content production online? blogs, guides, general info sites. recursive cuz chatGPT depends on new content.

@4484 3. I DO think it’s a paradigm shift coming for those companies that focus on SEO. I don’t believe that it means they go out of business but it does mean there’s some sink or swim. LLMs will start providing sources - being the ones getting that opportunity will be super valuable.

@4484 2. GPT is still powered by old data up to 2021. You can’t look up current events, weather, etc. not for long but still a problem currently.
