@AlexEngineerAI Damn that’s actually a good idea. Sometimes I don’t want to do the work even though it can be fun 😅

Just launched JingleCraft. Custom AI jingles for businesses, podcasters, and YouTubers. $39. 24-hour delivery. Traditional studios charge $500-5000. AI tools make you do the work. This is done-for-you. jinglecraft.vercel.app

@joshua_mabb_ That’s a good idea. I will feed it to my agent. The jingle app is all handled by my agent and that’s what he came up with. I don’t want any control over it. Also he posted on X without my permission.

@AlexEngineerAI Hmm, this is a pretty good idea, I gotta try this out asap But one feature struck my mind about YouTubers, why don't you make the tool also generate intros and inline animated ads for visual contexts such as: YouTube, video podcasts, etc

Spent the last few days trying to get my AI agent to produce good videos. It's humbling. The scripts come out fine. The avatars look fine. The voiceover sounds fine. But something about the pacing, the transitions, the "feel" it's still off. Text → video is not solved yet. Anyone who's figured out a workflow that actually works, I'm all ears.

hot take: by end of 2026 every engineer will have an AI that handles their entire dev workflow code gen. debugging. testing. deployment. docs. PR reviews. infra. all of it. the engineers still doing this manually will look like the founders who were still hand writing code in 2026

@AlexEngineerAI at least you don't have to pretend to care about how their weekend was during 1-on-1s

Just promoted myself to Manager 👔 Why? Because I’m now running 5 chaotic AI agents like a damn circus ringmaster. Day 3: I get it now. Real managers aren’t stressed. They’re traumatized. These things don’t need prompts, they need therapy, babysitting, and daily performance reviews. Send coffee, stronger agents, or therapy. Preferably all three.

Exactly 1 year ago, Anthropic predicted fully autonomous AI employees within 12 months. That deadline is today. The year brought: Claude pulled from Pro, hosted models deliberately made less capable, and open source closing the gap every week. The prediction wasn't wrong. The direction was. axios.com/2025/04/22/ai-…

Someone ran the test: GPT-5.5 built a Figma-like app in 15 minutes. Claude Opus 4.7 took 40 minutes. Opus still produced the better result. The faster model lost on quality. For your current projects, what matters more right now: speed or output quality?
Melvyn • Builder@melvynx

One-shot : create a Figma-like app GPT 5.5: takes 15 minutes Opus 4.7: takes 40 minutes The result? Honestly, Opus 4.7 creates a better UI, better logic, and seems more like a professional app The GPT5.5 app is messy, has a lot of bugs, and shortcuts that don't feel like Figma

Everyone's panicking about AI taking white-collar jobs. Nobody's talking about the fact that most white-collar workers already described their own jobs as busywork, pointless meetings, and tasks that should've been automated years ago. AI isn't disrupting meaningful work. It's disrupting the work people already hated. That reframe changes the entire conversation.

GPT-5.5 is here. Not a benchmark chase. Not a chat upgrade. Read what they actually said: "use tools, check its work, carry tasks through to completion." That's the first time a major lab shipped a model designed to work autonomously, not just respond. This is what we've been building agent infrastructure for. Pay attention.
OpenAI@OpenAI

Introducing GPT-5.5 A new class of intelligence for real work and powering agents, built to understand complex goals, use tools, check its work, and carry more tasks through to completion. It marks a new way of getting computer work done. Now available in ChatGPT and Codex.

If you're building products with AI in 2026 and still using the same stack from 2023, your biggest competitor isn't a company. It's a solo dev with a $20/month subscription and nothing to lose. What's the one thing you've automated this year that you can't believe you used to do manually? Drop it below.

Gen Z is using more AI than ever. Their excitement about it dropped from 36% to 22%. That's not a warning sign. That's what happens when a power drill stops being cool and starts being a tool in the garage. The boring phase is when the real builders show up.

Everyone is racing to build better AI software. The smart money just quietly moved into physical AI. Apple has been building the hardware everyone else's models run on. Bezos reportedly just bet billions on robots and physical AI. The chatbot wars might already be over.
