Sulston’s greatest find was that life requires a calculated amount of death. He noticed that the worm consistently generated 1090 cells, but the final adult only had 959.
He realized that 131 cells were programmed to commit suicide. Before Sulston, scientists thought cell death was accidental (necrosis). Sulston proved that our body is a crime scene where murders are committed by design to keep the organism healthy. Cancer, in this context, is simply a cell that refuses to die when its number is up.

Even Asa’s conclusion supports this. Meeting Yoru, being a famous hero, all led to her conclusion in ch 229 that she already made in 98. Becoming an MC only postponed her healing. She didnt need to be an MC to heal, she was ready to do it herself before being tripped.

@JellyStara It could be the sand. AI thinks it’s a nude because there’s a lot of a skin tone color. When AI was first used to flag inappropriate images it oftentimes flagged deserts.

I have a pet theory that the suckiness and stuckness of modernity is largely due to lack of a frontier. There must be new territory to expand into, places no one yet owns that aren’t choked with rent-seeking parasites. There was a gap in time between settling the whole Earth and space being economically settleable. If we can build financially viable moon bases now, then thankfully the suck period has ended and a new age of exploration has begun. Expect everything to get better in a million ways small and big.

@charmedVirus @TrashxPunky O problema não era matar os animais, o problema foi os bombeiros terem provavelmente se machucado, estressado, se queimado e até terem sofrido lesões durante o resgate, ent sla, eles ao menos poderiam ter servido carne de outro animal, e não especificamente dos porcos salvos..
