@JennaLabossiere @georgejroy We are also one to one this year since my district began the school year virtual. It has been wonderful since they are more technology independent and have the ability to login on their own. Thanks for the app recommendation. I’d love to look into it. 😀

@AlexFogle11 @georgejroy My students are one-to-one this year with technology, so we use it a lot in class, but I find students are very distracted by other options on their iPads. I have the classroom app to monitor their devices- it is a game changer!

One of the benefits of using social media in the classroom is the ease of access for students. A challenge of this practice is the content that is available to students on social media and the distractions they may face while using the media outlet. @georgejroy #EDTE731SPRING2021

@ClarevO @georgejroy I teach First grade and we have a class instagram. It can be challenging when parents don't want their child to participate in social media while others do. I have found that student's like to be celebrated using social media so that their parents can see their celebrations.
