Howie has earned our trust but we essentially drafted two wide outs in the first two rounds. The tackle I felt looks like he has some promise but we needed a run blocker. This guy looks like he will be an asset in the pass game and a liability in the run and its not the kind of pick I would make. Beyond that the QB pick was weird. I like taking Micah Morris. He has the talent and athleticism of a 1st rounder but lacks the work ethic. I like that because its correctable and he can be a major hit. You cant work with all work ethic no talent though. After that we drafted a saftey and a DE I dont expect to ever hear from again but Uar Bernard thats a really interesting pick. You at least brought someone in who has more athletic ability than basically any defensive lineman currently in the NFL. Its a longshot but if it hits its major. Mailata is an example. He was an all pro and he was PFFs top ranked player in all of 2024 season. Thats spectacular. Thats what happens when physical ability starts developing skill. In the 7th round a Uar Bernard is as good as it gets imo unless you are simply looking for a backup or special teams.
