Rita Moreno is one of just three people to win an Emmy for The Muppets, the other two: Bernadette Peters and Peter Sellers. The comedy timing during her performance of "Fever" while Animal attempts to railroad her is incredible. It was also done in one take "Dat my kinda woman!"

It's profoundly touching to witness a woman, possibly living with cerebral palsy, being escorted for a photo alongside a soldier on horseback. He skillfully repositions his horse for an optimal shot, while the horse appears to sense her presence.

Surely, Starmer can't hang on much longer? Burnham may come back into the equation eventually if he goes. Rayner, Streeting or Miliband look more likely. All are absolutely awful prospects imo. Starmer should look to the history books & call a General Election as most now want.

Insurance feels more & more like a massive scam Someone in an old Toyota Yaris reversed into my Aston Martin DBS I tried to claim on the insurance Her insurance, not mine, because it was her fault. My car was stationary  Her repair bill: £50. MY repair bill: £5,000 And not ONLY did my trying to claim on HER insurance put MY insurance premium up… It put the premium up on all my other cars (7 cars) including business partners’ cars AND my business fleet of cars (total 15 cars)

AND for the next FIVE years. WTF For a car reversing into my PARKED car A  week later I stopped at a junction & some guy went into the back of my f*cking Aston Martin again Of course he was sorry Another 5 grand repair bill. So that's 10 grand for two claims I can't make Imagine if I’m ill and YOUR health insurance goes up, because I touched you I mean, that would be a scam, wouldn’t it? Have you ever tried to claim for anything? Almost impossible to get any money  And if you do, you end up paying MORE & your premium is higher that it was  Why is no one talking about this?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year - the self-assessment deadline. That magical moment when many of Britain’s tax-paying men and women sit down trying to work out how much more of their hard-earned money the obese state is going to steal from them - and it is theft. What’s the damage? A LOT. For a moment, let’s ask ourselves for what… To fund indolent Somalian families who refuse to work, living off benefits? To pay for this endless line of public sector bureaucrats who give nothing, but take so much? To provide laundry services to Eritrean conmen who have broken into our country so they can have their taxpayer-funded tracksuits washed twice a week? To send Pakistan £133 million in foreign aid whilst our own towns crumble away? To allow millions of healthy Brits to laze around all day, enjoying daytime television whilst the rest of us actually contribute? What a crap deal. I am fed up of it. I am fed up of all of it. Who picks up the bill? Business owners, farmers, contractors, sole traders, publicans, plumbers, entrepreneurs, electricians, long-standing family businesses and so many more. People who work and work and work to create real value. I see the effort, it is relentless and nobody in Government gives a toss about them. I really mean that. They don’t. They’re just another source of income to fund all this outrageous waste. Not forgetting the accountant fees we all have to pay to comply with the never-ending conveyor belt of laws and regulations… These men and women are all now looking at their tax bills and thinking what the HELL is the point? Honestly? Why bother? NOTHING WORKS. The roads are a mess, a chaotic NHS is failing and every organ of the state is utterly incompetent. The entire Westminster establishment simply does not understand the brutal reality of what is needed. And it must be brutal. There is ONE route out of this mess. Slash tax - income, corporation, dividends. Cut VAT. Everything. Brutalise the size of the state. Less Government, less regulation, less tax. Get it the hell out of our lives. And PLEASE stop pissing our tax away on all this nonsense. I want Government to do a small list of things, but do them very well. Let these entrepreneurs and grafters do what they do best. Work, build success, generate opportunities and create wealth. Then actually, they’ll end up paying more tax. This is NOT complicated. MPs are CLUELESS. I would honestly rather a flock of pigeons made these decisions, at least then there’s a random chance they might get one or two calls right. The lack of business understanding from these clowns is PAINFUL. Please know that there is at least one MP fighting for you all.

You actually pay over 66% tax in the UK And if you earn more than average, you pay even more Here’s the maths. Average salary £37,430 Average household income £48,659 Average household tax £31,623.50 37 different taxes per household Add EV tax, congestion charges and inheritance tax Total average tax £32,260 That’s 66% of household income gone And if you earn more? Government takes more Now you see why people want to leave

🌍🪶 Woodcock capital of Europe? We’re heading to Co Kerry… Co Kerry in Ireland might just be the ultimate woodcock destination — a place where huge numbers pass through, and plenty settle in for the winter. In this week’s main feature, we join Joe O’Dwyer and Sion Brain of The Hunter & The Chef, shooting woodcock over smart dogs (English setters, plus guests’ pointers)… and then turning those birds into something seriously special back at the table. 🎥 Watch here: youtube.com/watch?v=rZk_J1… #FieldsportsBritain #Woodcock #Ireland #CoKerry #Gundogs #EnglishSetter #Pointers #TheHunterAndTheChef

If you earn £100 and pay £30 income tax you’re left with £70 You then buy £70 of fuel and you pay 59% fuel duty & VAT (£41.46 of the £70) Which means the government just got £71.46 tax from your hard earned £100 No wonder people can’t afford to live in the U.K

🚨🇬🇧 HOW TO FORMALLY COMPLAIN TO OFCOM OVER SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT AND CENSORSHIP - X I have been working on this relentlessly the past day or two, so you don't have to. If you have any questions my DMs are open. Ofcom does not provide a simple public complaints email for regulatory conduct. That does not prevent formal complaints being made. To ensure your complaint is properly logged and cannot be ignored, I strongly advise using both routes below. Email the Ofcom Corporation Secretary directly at: corporationsecretary@ofcom.org.uk Also submit the same complaint via Ofcom’s online contact form: ofcom.org.uk/about-ofcom/wh… Below is the updated email template. Copy it in full, or amend as you wish, add your name, and submit. Subject FORMAL COMPLAINT REGARDING SELECTIVE REGULATORY ENFORCEMENT AND CENSORSHIP CONCERNS Dear Ofcom Complaints Team, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding what appears to be selective and inconsistent regulatory enforcement in Ofcom’s approach to online safety, AI regulation, and platform accountability. There is growing public concern that the UK Government, under Prime Minister Keir Starmer, alongside Ofcom as the statutory regulator, is directing disproportionate scrutiny and political pressure towards the platform X and its AI tool, Grok, while other AI platforms with comparable or greater capabilities remain largely unaddressed. This imbalance has created a strong perception that the current focus is less about genuine child protection and more about censorship and control of lawful speech, which is wholly unacceptable. It is particularly concerning given that X has already implemented safeguards around Grok’s image creation and editing features. Access is restricted to paying premium subscribers who must provide verified personal and payment details. This creates a clear audit trail and enables targeted enforcement against identifiable individuals where the law is broken. In this context, it is difficult to understand why proportionate enforcement against offenders is not being prioritised, rather than pursuing platform-level restriction or suppression. These concerns are further compounded by the apparent lack of comparable regulatory urgency in addressing long-standing safeguarding failures, including the historic and ongoing grooming gang scandals across the country. Similarly, platforms repeatedly identified by independent child-protection groups as being used for the grooming and exploitation of minors, such as Snapchat and online gaming platforms like Roblox, do not appear to attract the same level of regulatory focus or public pressure. Taken together, these issues create the impression of uneven regulation and misplaced priorities, undermining public confidence in Ofcom’s independence and stated commitment to child protection and free expression. I therefore request clarification on how Ofcom determines its enforcement priorities, why comparable platforms are not subject to the same scrutiny, what concrete steps are being taken to address platforms known to be used for child exploitation, and how Ofcom ensures its actions are not driven by censorship or political influence. As an independent regulator, transparency and consistency are essential. I would welcome a substantive response addressing these concerns. Yours faithfully, [Your Name]
