@HeimpelJason @MunicCK Absolutely. It's unionized, so I'm sure the best operators aren't always the ones running the machines.

@AlexKnight936 @MunicCK U can have as many road graders as you want but if you don't have good operators then there's not much chance of goods roads.

Hey @MunicCK how many road graders does the municipality own? Asking on behalf of everyone who is unfortunate enough to have to use these gravel roads.

@MattPinsonn @MunicCK Goat trails may be a better term? I've never seen so many roads in such terrible shape this time of year.

@AlexKnight936 @MunicCK Can we even call the gravel roads anymore with the garbage aggregate they have been using? Pretty well dirt roads over here at this point.

Looks like some squirrels got me back for letting the dog (naturally) eliminate some of the colony. Well played. This war ain't over.

@farmerjim13 @markede05626239 @James_Stacey_ I have an extremely annoying rattle in the cab, and I cannot find it for the life of me. But whatever it is, I'm sure some windshield adhesive will likely be the fix there too. Lol

Winter canola is primed for flowers now, I’m going to guess any day this week they should burst. #grow26

@farmerjim13 I did our T8 a couple of weeks ago. The price of those tensioners is even worse in Canadian dollars. Lol Grabbed some bearings in town and swapped them out. You can get the same tensioners from dayco for about a third of the price.

@AlexKnight936 Yep all the bearings are shot in all of them. Should have known they would be outrageous but walked out the door before looking at the ticket. Found the bearings at car quest cheap.

Remember the days when you didn't have to price shop every single part for the farm. Those were the days.... I'll be buying bearings and returning these $330 tensioners!

Thinking about fungicide application for winter canola for white mold. I’ve never seen fruiting bodies germinate or be present in May and early June, is there a risk to get mold if the crop is flowering in May?

@FarmerChris13 I bought this Yamaha RMax a couple of years ago and have been very happy with it. We use it for spraying, rock picking and running around the farm. I even take it to get groceries sometimes.

Best side by side for fencing/poly wire moving cows and general farm abuse? I should be looking at one to (more) safely be able to take the little cowgirl with me this summer.

@SmithDnksmitty It amazes me how it will look like that, then all of a sudden it's green, then bolting in a short period of time.

Some of the brownest winter canola plants we could find before and after 4 days inside, hope it’s a good sign for things to come. 🤞

@JoshBoersen @scottyheps @WheatPete Your canola looks fantastic. Ours looks a bit ugly right now, but it does every spring. We've had a lot of rain down here, now have standing water and freezing temps on the way. I suspect we'll lose some low spots, but we'll see in the coming weeks.

@Chance2FarmLtd We will get this one to the field this spring, then we'll strip it down next winter for paint and interior work. If we get carried away, maybe even put new rubber on it.

@AlexKnight936 Easy to fix and reliable. This one will get a bit of work over the next 2 years, minor things as time allows. Then I need to find a Big Bud.

It may not be fancy, but I will guarantee you that it will never have a def system failure. This was grandpa's favorite tractor. We sold it years ago, but now it's back and it will never leave again as long as I'm around. Next winter's restoration project came early.
