@ajbennett79 He does. Going on tour with England might help that, even if he doesn’t play. He’s clearly very coachable and a fast learner.

@AlexMLowe Caluori seems inevitable doesn’t he, just his athleticism, seems impossible to ignore. Much as with IFW, though his fitness maybe seems a concern.
My gut feeling is that Caluori needs a bit more time and experience to develop his defence and positioning etc.

England squad named Monday. Archie McParland hard to ignore. Different style No9 to the others: tall and physical, he’s learned to love a tackle, plays eyes up and so dangerous around the fringes. George Hendy on the radar. Fin Smith and Tommy Freeman unstoppable in that mood.

@AlexMLowe I’d argue a similar player to Roebuck but in better form perhaps currently.
Radwan also seems overlooked. Similar pace to Arundell but better defensively and work rate wise. I freely admit a Tigers centric bias though so maybe I’m overly coloured by that.

@ajbennett79 Those 9s are the same height at 6ft but AP is heavier and more physical. You’d think IFW and Caluori will be involved. Not sure about Hendy but Murley is vulnerable.

@AlexMLowe Is he bigger than JvP? Who would you take out to accommodate Hendy? Been impressed at times with his running but not convinced he’s better all round than other options already in. Not that he’s done developing of course, or shouldn’t be given opportunity to show what he can do.

@IbukunChels The squad at any one time can only be 36. As things stand, that would prevent him from sending his 1st XV to Argentina. He could send a handful of players but then operate with a smaller squad for the Fiji game.
