🚨💣 West Ham believe the Premier League is working against them and fear the club is being pushed toward relegation this season.
People inside the club think Tottenham’s bigger commercial and TV value could be influencing decisions in their favor.
West Ham are now considering legal action over refereeing decisions, with several incidents from this season being reviewed internally.
The club is also looking into matches involving rival teams, with growing belief that the mistakes are more than just “human error.”

@adamboxer1 Get back to work. Nobody else gets to leave early or have a ‘nice relaxing time’. Do your job and shut up.
English

Is study leave fair?
When I worked in middle class schools, Year 11 and 13 were gone from more or less the first week after Easter. By this point in the year, I probably would have had over 20 hours of "gain time" already.
I could have spent that time developing our curriculum, observing others, reading, arriving a bit later, leaving a bit earlier. Having a more relaxed time in lunch and break.
Now, I work in a school where we don't do that. Year 11 are in till the last exam. Year 13 are in till the last exam. The pace doesn't change, in fact it accelerates in this critical pre-exam period. And then, when they're gone, it'll be end of years for everyone else, and I won't have that nice relaxing time to catch up on all the jobs I never had time to do.
This, surely, is a systemic inequality. Schools with "study leave" already have a lot of perks, and get to offer their staff something that schools serving a poorer demographic don't. That doesn't seem fair to me.

@sufferingspurs Agreed. Imagine if you are West Ham. They absolutely have to win one of their last two games. They have to. Two draws, a draw and a loss…neither are enough for them

I wish there was a way to gauge how many of the doom and gloomers who are saying ‘we’re definitely down’ actually believe it and how many do it for attention and validation.
It’s the online equivalent of sitting in a silent room full of people and sighing really loudly in the hope someone will hear you. Man the fuck up.
If you’d been offered 2 points clear of West Ham with 2 games to go before the Wolves game you would have wanked someone off for it.
We are staying up. Newcastle twitter fans can talk about throwing the game all the want - In reality, Eddie Howe will have those players running themselves in to the ground for their last home game of the season and we will need 1 point from our last 2 games. Then we’ll go to Stamford Bridge and smash them. Believe. I do

@hartnett1977 Boils my piss every time I hear him speak. He’d love Spurs to go down and doesn’t even try to hide it

@henrywinter Scale VAR back. Only use for offside, goal line tech, incorrect player carded and ball out of play, deliberate handball in the area. Ref’s call on everything else including grappling in the area. No shirt grabbing, no arms around, no WWE headlocks
English

How to end the wrestle-mania scarring the Premier League? In all the fall-out to the (correct) VAR decision over the foul on Raya, some thought must now be given to stopping the free-for-all grappling at corners. Premier League and PGMO need to act on this embarrassment to the football it oversees. But how? More refereeing consistency would be a start.
Operating a no-hands rule - as suggested by some - would be impossible. Contact will always happen in a crowded area. Darren Cann’s suggestion of no attackers in the six-yard box until the ball is played makes sense, as Cann’s suggestions invariably do. A working party of Cann, a former player and manager could easily advise PGMO on getting to grips with the grapplers.

@fullback03 Tottenham this season.
Zero penalties for.
Zero opposition red cards.

Yesterday Conor Gallagher ran 13.34km against Villa. To put that in perspective, that’s the highest this season, beating Guimaraes (13.24km).
This man will run through a brick wall for us 👏💪 #thfc

@larterlia1957 @JakeSanders92 If we’d had Maddison, Romero, Kulusevski, Xavi, Solanke, Davies, Vicario, Odobert……whatever. You keep crying about your team. We didn’t, we won
English

@AlexPems1 @JakeSanders92 Not true if we had Konsa Onana McGinn pau and Kamara playing we would have won. The drop off in the squad from thise players is massive
