@Zombielicorice @JamrockHobo "if it's not turned-based" most of the defining examples of the genre are real time with pause. The turn based ones are my favourite, but the genre was defined in it's teenage years by stuff like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment.

Crpg is a bad term because the definition of rpg has expanded so much, but generally it's just a computer game, single player, version of a what TTRPG's are. I would say if it's not turn based, initiative based, and somewhat isometric or birds eye, it's not a crpg (or at least not a typical one. Gaming is full of small tweaks and exceptions, like cooking)

@copydapasta @VinciLostSignal Not really, they aren't scale-able in the way LCDs and OLEDs are. Vacuum glass is big and heavy and there are limits to how far you can steer a beam of electrons. You'd never be able to get the resolutions we work with today for viewing highly detailed footage.

One universal time for everything official and international. Who cares which number follows however many lumens? Use Point Nemo or Everest. Let each locality pick its own method of timekeeping for informal use.

@Jacksonsrule Money isn't real, it has value because people are willing to do things for it. If you give everyone money, they won't be willing to debase themselves for it and then you can't do anything with it. The system has to keep people hungry to keep them working.
