If it looks like a schism, talks like a schism, and acts like a schism, then it probably is a schism.

Your strongest argument is that some of Saint John Paul II’s gestures created real ambiguity. Your weakest move is treating that ambiguity as proof of modernist intent, false sanctity, and apostasy. There is a more coherent reading: Saint John Paul II was not trying to teach that other religions save apart from Christ, but to change the Church’s posture toward those outside her so they might become reachable by charity rather than hardened by contempt. There’s a fair conversation to be had about the boundaries required by piety. But you are reading outreach as endorsement, courtesy as surrender, and pastoral posture as doctrinal denial. That is not the only (or most likely) Catholic reading of the evidence. It is the most suspicious one.
