I thought they should have sacked Slot months ago.
Lots did.
But they couldn't get who they wanted.
And they didn't want to go the interim route. Understandably.
If we end up in the CL next season, it won't have been the wrong decision to keep him until of the season.

@HendrickD82 @Brian_KFHO Yeah if you move mid season you’ve almost got to write off the end of that season as the managers time to assess players and find his feet and then be able to plan for what he needs in the summer and start preseason from the very beginning

@AlexSallery @Brian_KFHO No, he wouldn't consider leaving Stuttgart mid season.
Also, don't underestimate the effect Amorim's tenure at United will have on the thinking of young coaches for the next few years. It will make them hesitant to move mid season and not get that first pre-season.

In a week when we play Man United, you expect players to spend the whole week on the training ground.
