This father took his two boys bike riding. The trail they were on said kid friendly.
But as you can see, chaos erupted. As the dad was tending to his one son who had already crashed, his other son was coming down the trail. He screamed several times for him to hit his brakes but his son flew by him and kept going and wiped out. When the dad got to him, he appeared to be okay.
Just to be safe, he took his boys to go get checked out.
Luckily no broken bones, internal bleeding or permanent damage outside of a few cuts bruises and scrapes.
The dad said he wishes he would have just reached back and grabbed him as he came down but he was busy tending to his other son. It could have been much worse.
Many people are blaming the dad saying he was irresponsible and that he should have checked the trail out before they rode down it.
Do you think the father is to blame? Do you think it’s just boys being boys, they’re tough and that’s life? Or, do you think the parks and recreation department is to blame for labeling the bike path as a kid’s path?

NASCAR issued a penalty for retaliation at the Texas race, but not the one you may think: Ryan Preece docked 25 points and fined $50k for wrecking Ty Gibbs.
However…and this is obviously going to become a big topic…Kyle Busch NOT penalized for wrecking John Hunter Nemechek.

JUST FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT let's compare/contrast what happened to Cody Ware yesterday with another inopportune caution I can remember.
Back at Martinsville in 2012 David Reutimann was having a clear and obvious issue and had a chance to pull off the track, but didn't to try and get a better finish to keep his car up in the owner's points. It backfired, his car stalled, and it happened just as Jeff Godon was making what was likely the winning pass on Jimmie Johnson - setting up the restart where they both got bowled over by Clint Bowyer and you know the rest.
The indignance would make more sense if it was something like this or like the 81 truck at Phoenix last year where a car was having an obvious problem and had opportunities to get off the track but didn't. I don't think what happened with the 51 is anything like that as there wasn't an obvious indication their tire was going to blow the way it did.

Here's what may have led to Cody Ware's spin coming to the white flag: He got in the wall with ~12 to go struggling on old tires Cody's last stop was with ~65 to go, so his team was running very long to the finish and Cody was the "freest I've been all day" as it progressed. Then, he slapped the wall in Turn 1. "The car finally got me. It's been stupid free this whole run. I don't know if it can hold on." Cody asked a little later if they made an adjustment on their last stop. The 51 crew took two tenths of air out of their left rear, "only because we're going so long." The right rear, of course, finally let go as the leaders were getting ready to take the white flag. "I think the right rear finally gave up." "10-4. Do you think it just blew, or do you think you had one going down?" "No, it blew ... We were driving off the right rear that whole run. I mean, it was terrible. We were stupid free that whole run." Bad timing for the leaders and it also ruined Cody's race. He had been on the same lap as Kyle Busch and competing for position with the 8 car on that last run.

Todd Gilliland followed Denny Hamlin through after getting lapped, and while Hamlin continued lapping cars, stayed with the 11. Gilliland gained like six spots on that sequence and then Hamlin gifts him, very old school, a lead lap spot coming to the line. That was very very retro.
