#SCOTUS is misusing the emergency docket to block a temporary injunction and green light racist roving patrols. This has resulted in innocent people getting swept up, including in #Sacramento. I agree with Justice Sotomayor: “We should not have to live in a country where the government can seize anyone who looks Latino, speaks Spanish, and appears to work a low wage job.”

Rlly important coverage on how disabled UC students are all too often denied an equitable academic experience because there is not enough support on campus. Students deserve to be able to fully devote themselves to learning & growing, not overcoming an arbitrary lack of resources

Excited that we passed a policy that allows for the hiring of UC students without regard to immigration status! A six-month working group will come back with a strategy/implementation plan. In the meantime, UC will look at providing some relief to these students. Stay tuned!
