Children hit by an SUV when walking and cycling have a 77% higher chance of being killed than when hit by a smaller passenger car. That rises to 209% more chance of being killed by an SUV for kids under the age of nine. That's why I've asked @TfL to do more research on the growing impact of supersized SUVs in our city.
