Been a rough few years. 3 family deaths, a 20 year relationship betrayal, change of school and back into significant responsibility whilst carrying on being a single parent. Great set of department results, oddly enough lowers the sword of Damocles Some days catches up with me😔

In case anyone interested, I have just tidied up the language on this and made it a bit punchier. Slides and both drafts of the script in the folder - but V2 is much better! Hope it helps/saves people a job/gives a head start

It was a very emotional Celebration assembly today, as we said our farewells to Mrs Bowman and Mr Tonks. They will both be hugely missed by the children, staff and parents alike. We wish them all the best in their next venture! #goodluck #wewillmissyou

@MrZacJamesB Just weren’t keen on the topics for that one for us. I think you’re right about the problems across the board. Aqa questions were okay but only narrow assessment of spec.

Glad I spent time going through reorganisation of the Nazi party with my class and they seemed generally quite happy with the Paper. The paper was abysmal in my opinion and what was that? About 5% of the Germany content?? #GCSEHistory

@MrZacJamesB Yeah we’re finding cohorts consistently struggling with the wording of questions on Aqa so value your opinion!

@Alex_Henderson1 I prefer Edexcel to AQA having taught both but I’ve taught Edexcel for 5 years so I’m biased. I do have my reservations about Edexcel at the moment due to the content and the exams being so ridiculous this year..,
