@PrimeVideo @LOTRonPrime I’m 8 min in and can barely keep going. Those speeches from Pharazon and co. were cheesy as hell and way too obvious with the liberal political subtexts. Please do better, guys…

⚡️19 US national security experts agree: "The war in Ukraine has reached a decisive moment and vital US interests are at stake." Strong American military support for Ukraine is also a smart investment in US and European security. thehill.com/opinion/nation…

The artillery pledged so far (108 howitzers & 4 HIMARS from US) is wholly insufficient. The West should be sending hundreds of howitzers and multi-launch rocket systems, thousands of rockets and hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds. wapo.st/3mJ9UXG

@alan_dow True, I remember before the pandemic reading about the challenges of vaccine production but hopefully mRNA technology and the lessons from COVID-19 will remedy that for a while.

@Alex_bolt1 Not an expert, but I’ve read they make vaccine production much faster and more efficient. This might help with the next pandemic as well endemic flu since we’re always guessing what flu strain might show up. #CFASChat

Bonus question from David Sklar: How can we get information out to the public, if our administration has to OK any communications with politicians? #cfaschat

Perhaps one way to deal with the increasing conflict of politics and science is to encourage more scientists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to actually get into politics. Having a seat at the table may be the best antidote to the anti-science sentiment. #CFASChat

@ermiwe So much of the tension comes back to the belief that science and faith are opposing forces i.e. the reality of evolution precludes belief in God, if only there was a broad realization that faith doesn’t invalidate science and vice versa #CFASChat

I think more relationship building between scientists and faith communities would do a lot to diffuse the mutual mistrust that’s being exacerbated by our click-bait media ecosystem #CFASChat
