i made a sunset predictor for NYC & SF and a live sky you can check anytime it uses real weather data to recreate the sky. gradients evolve, clouds drift, wind blows, stars appear if you're lucky. adding sunshine and rain soon ⛅️

This tweet had me thinking, what’s the “minimum viable ontology” or list of terms to quickly get situated within a new domain, and improve your prompts? Vibecoded domainmaps.co to showcase this idea on a few example domains -- been wading into 3D recently and found this initial "domain map" helpful. SO much to improve here but wanted to get this initial idea out! Would love thoughts / feedback :)

you can instantly 10x your vibecoded frontends by just learning what different ui components are called ofc opus is creating generic slop, the only words you know are menu and button.

Welcome to Pylon NYC 🗽 Since starting the company in our SF apartment 3 years ago, we always wanted to expand to more cities... But we didn't know it would happen this soon. Last year we 5.35x'd ARR and started supporting tons of teams who are distributed across the US, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. At the same time we felt like we were missing out on incredible GTM talent because we didn't have an East Coast presence. So in a matter of months we... → Spun up an NYC sales hiring motion → Built the ops engine to support 2 geos → Officially signed the lease on an office ...and today, Pylon NYC is finally live. Our home base will always be SF but we're very excited to support customers from this new hub. We have an incredible sales team on the ground already taking demos and ripping cold calls from Day 1 🗽

it’s a tragedy to watch young people gain access to the most powerful AI tools to date & immediately jump to launching slop. if you know your talent would be wasted on ai email farms or social media bots, I’d encourage you to: 1/ buy your first arduino 2/ read about esoteric industries that actually support the world 3/ build something out of your league that matters We support 14yr olds building for offshore wind, local agriculture, and more at @bagelfund. Don’t waste your youth on things that don’t matter.

I built this as a side for personal use. But, it turned out to be so much more and so much better than I ever hoped, I am releasing it as a product for everyone. It's called Situation Deck (SitDeck) and it's a free OSINT dashboard with 180+ live data sources. It puts the entire world and almost everything happening in it on one screen. Here's what it is, why it exists, and why/how I'm giving it away for free.
Situation Deck@SitDeck

Announcing SitDeck.com: A free, real-time, AI-powered OSINT dashboard w/ 180+ data feeds, 55+ widgets, 70+ map layers, alerts & more. Conflicts. Earthquakes. Flights. Nukes. Cyber threats. Elections. All live. All in one place. Monitor the situation. For free.

the why is definitely understandable. unfortunately people don't know that usually these methods aren't real (no one shares true alpha) and come at the cost killing your drive/appreciation for other things. this tweet is more focused on how young kids, who perhaps haven't thought about why they should build something of their own or not, get funneled into quick hacks that don't yield the freedom they want. these typically look like little swings at scammy things, instead of something big, bold, and unique.

It's nice to see somebody talking like this within a sea of hype about AI taking over the world. However, I feel like most people have jumped onto the trend of buiding with AI because they are scared of falling behind. So, they likely will continue to follow the actions of the big accounts on X as they have no real interest in using the tech for anything other than trying to make money.
