Today, NAEB with partners officially launched the Roadmap for Aligning Rwanda’s Coffee Sector with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). With Europe accounting for over 61% of Rwanda’s coffee exports, this roadmap marks a strategic milestone in safeguarding market access while strengthening sustainability, traceability, and responsible business conduct across the coffee value chain.

This afternoon at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame received U.S. Senator Steve Daines of Montana. They discussed ways to strengthen Rwanda - U.S. cooperation, regional stability, and opportunities for expanding economic ties.

Today, NAEB, through #PSAC Project, kicked off a four-day training for 125 staff involved in the coffee value chain from six districts: @HuyeDistrict, @RuhangoDistrict, @Nyamagabe, @RusiziDistrict, @Nyamasheke, and @KarongiDistr. Participants include Project District Field Officers, District Cash Crop Officers, and sector-level Proximity Technical Assistants.
