Finance should be more than just a vocational field of study. It's a mandatory skill that's required to lead a prosperous life. Schools/universities should incorporate finance in their core curriculums.

Honestly, @bostonheartmom, this post is incredibly disrespectful. You’re attempting to undermine the countless years of selfless, hard work my mom has dedicated her ENTIRE LIFE to. IMO, the rare disease and patient advocacy communities should be celebrating that we finally have someone in a position of real power with influence to make real long lasting changes who actually understands our needs and what we go through. I understand that people are scared and frustrated right now, but attacking someone who has spent their whole life fighting for patients, because of a new job is not only unfair, it’s harmful. The agency heads are the ones making budget decisions, and to suggest she’s cutting care, research, or benefits is completely misleading. She's still just as committed to improving the lives of patients as she has always been. A new job doesn't change that. Don't believe everything you see on the news and social media especially when it’s being used to discredit and attack someone who has spent a lifetime fighting for people like us. You may not agree with everything this administration is doing but coming for her character is completely unnecessary. I’m incredibly proud of her and I fully support her. There is no one I'd trust more in this role. The number of people trying to twist her work into something it’s not is genuinely disgusting. @ThePatientsSide
