Africa doesn't need convincing on stablecoins. - 59% of Nigerians already own USDT - 48% own USDC Stablecoins are the de facto financial layer for a significant portion of the continent and I built @ZyntaFinance for exactly this.

Any thoughts on how long this new airline scheme happening in Nigeria will last? I do not think it checks out since we do not have enough frequent air travelers. Maybe there is a stat I am missing, except perhaps for state managed ones.

People will always go where there’s incentive, and Web3 was built on that. Maybe having an incentivized DAO was never a bad idea, but the problem has always been sustainability. So I think Sowellien governance might have cracked that. But then What could possibly go wrong?

Sowellian fund DAOs on @realmsdaos are seeing 4-5x higher voter participation than traditional governance DAOs. Turns out people show up when there's money on the line, not just a vote. Prediction markets > governance proposals for engagement. And this is just the betting layer we haven't even shipped the full product yet.

We used this approach when the InfoFi crowd discovered Superteam Earn. With it came threats of heads 'rolling' if certain participants didn’t win, and suggestions that prizes should be diluted across 100 people instead of rewarding the top 3 or 5. We stuck with our values and strategy of only attracting and rewarding the best. Glad that phase has passed and many of them have moved on.

'm genuinely excited about what's happening here and the dynamics at play. In business environments, when you establish incentive structures and reward systems, it's almost inevitable that people will discover creative methods to exploit those systems to their advantage. The real challenge and opportunity lies in your ability to learn quickly from these attempts, adapt your approach in response, and systematically close the loopholes that emerge along the way.

The study did not say 59% of Nigerians own USDt The study did not say 59% of USDt holders are Nigerians. The study claims 59% of respondents own USDt. Respondent of the study is not representative of the entire population. Both you and the person you quoted are wrong on the conclusion drawn from that study.
