@libsoftiktok You've inspired multiple bomb threats against this school over nothing. Your followers are threatening to murder children over nothing. newson6.com/story/64e80935…
Because #MGBookChat has the best recommendations -- what are your favorite MG animal stories? We're studying zoology next year & looking for books for my animal-loving youngest. His favorites are Because of Winn-Dixie & A Wolf Called Wander by @RosanneParry
The situation with Twitter in Turkey is both disturbing and complex. If Twitter will listen to the Turkish government’s request under Recept Tayyip Erdogan, to remove certain content, what’s to stop Twitter from doing the same in America.
I will try to answer my own question:
The answer, I believe, is the law.
The problem in Turkey is that they don’t have the free speech that we have here in America. The law in Turkey allows for much more government censorship than it does here, where the First Amendment protects our free speech.
Journalists in Turkey are arrested frequently and the government has closed down multiple media outlets. The only option Twitter has is to obey the country’s laws or have the country shut Twitter down altogether.
In America, if the government were to demand certain content be taken down, Twitter could challenge it in courts. Thankfully this has not happened yet.
What are your thoughts? How should Twitter best handle this situation?
@mattyglesias Did your brain fall out of your head, Yglesias? The choice is have Twitter throttled in its entirety or limit access to some tweets. Which one do you want?
I have incels in my DMs complaining about how Lizzo is unhealthy, for some reason, and I would like to reiterate my original challenge: Do one of her dance routines and play any wind instrument. You can even do it in flats. Show her up
Little bit of help for y'all. If you are a Kiwi don't forget the intonation goes up at the end...like a question.
It is not Ris, Rice, Rahice etc etc.

in all my years of being in school as a student & being a teacher I have never once witnessed anyone pledging allegiance to a flag. maybe some schools in the South? certainly not mainstream America. sounds like an old rerun of "Gunsmoke."
one of my favorite tropes are when a male and female friend duo are just absolute dumbasses together.
not a ship, purely platonic, neither of them with even an ounce of romantic intent between each other...just completely stupid together. Two dummies. Silly billies, if you will
