Not ONE of our players tried to pull Paqueta away from the ref. Only Alisson tried to stop himself getting sent off, not OUR own captain, not ANY of OUR players gave a shit. Paqueta is a fucking idiot, but that's been well known for a while, the rest of the team should know to pull him away. Pathetic performance, Paqueta is a fucking moron, the rest of the squad don't give a shit, lost 2-0 to the 2nd worst side based on form. Pathetic.

Overpaying for players is a big reason why. Amazing to me some people can't join the dots, it's so straightforward.

Since 1st January 2024 James Ward Prowse has 5 goals and 2 assists to his name. That’s across Moyes, Nuno and Potter. At some point it’s the player that’s the issue.

The pile on against JWP is very telling of our online fan base. He’s been scapegoated under Potter, despite underwhelming performances from most players due to a poor structure and system. JWP is a PL quality player who would look perfectly fine if platformed correctly.

JWP has not been a decent player for some time. His last good performance that I can remember was against Leverkusen in April 2024. Since then his form has dropped off a cliff. His only positive is his leadership off the pitch. However, on the pitch there's nothing positive. ⚒️

@COYIronscom It's probably technically true. Over 15 years perhaps? The counter argument needs to be comparing the actual standard of facilities to comparative PL clubs. Piecemeal upgrades vs an actual vision on how to train excellence.
