The drive to transition, the source of dysphoria, is at best only weakly correlated with how naturally cross-sex shifted one’s brain microstructure actually is.
Which is why transitioners appear to come from across the spectrum of male typical behaviours, as opposed to arising mostly from natal males who brains that could also be female-typical (ie, within the overlap zone)

Whatever differences there are between brain microstructure found in natal males and brains found in natal females, there will likely undoubtedly be some area of overlap, even prior to receipt of cross sex hormones
What this means if that there are some natal males who have brain microstructure that fits within the normal female distribution and some natal females who have brain microstructure that fit within the normal male distribution

implicit in "its a fetish" arguments to identity(be it femboys or trans) is that 1. identity is a stable cognitive category and cannot be intertwined with sexuality or aesthetic pleasure 2. the subject is cartesian 3. identity becomes less fetishistic through social sanctioning
