A Pathway To Hell The Pathways trial — which will give puberty blockers to vulnerable children, is a pathway to horrific lifelong harms and litigation which could cost taxpayers millions of pounds. No child can give informed consent to an experiment which carries significant and well documented risks which include sterility, loss of sexual function, bone loss and possible cognitive impairment and increased cancer risk. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38594047/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40438403/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40924893/ 1/

@IotaAurigae Don't think so. I just did that in the hope of avoiding getting snagged by the "quality filter" if OP is using it... To no avail... probably!

What’s striking about The Canary’s piece today is how confidently it repeats one person’s narrative while skipping the most basic facts about the Independent Alliance MPs role, conference organisation and MOU. The article leans heavily on the idea that Zarah has been “shut out” of organising conference. But none of the IA MPs are organising conference or assemblies. Their temporary role was to steward the birthing process through to conference, including: - setting up Your Party Ltd - securing EC registration - appointing an Executive Conference Committee with the experience to deliver assemblies, the founding conference and essential administration until members elect the leadership and CEC. After that, their role ends. When Zarah joined the IA, she agreed to collective, majority decision making. She later proposed that she personally run conference, and the IA voted 5–1 for an executive team with the necessary track record. The “sexist boys’ club” framing appeared after that vote. None of this context appears in the article. The Canary also presents Zarah as a heroic figure who “took a massive legal risk alone” by taking over MOU because “no one else would”. Missing entirely is the fact that she became a director of MOU on 28 Oct - after governance and data-handling problems had already arisen around the clone site and the unauthorised 18 Sept portal. She was already directly involved in that situation in a way the other IA MPs were not. Directors of Your Party Ltd have a duty to avoid conflicts of interest and cannot responsibly take control of an external company where compliance issues are unresolved, liabilities unclear, and obligations could conflict. That is simply basic good governance. Instead, The Canary retells a version of events and frames the whole thing as a “power struggle” - rather than what it actually is: the need to sort out poor governance and ensure the new party does not inherit liabilities it didn’t create. Yesterday we saw left media: Novara Media and Turn Left, repeating provably false claims about the IA MPs being “single issue Gaza”. Today we see an uncritical, unverified story about conference and MOU. The pattern is the same: dramatic narrative over basic fact checking. We should all be asking the obvious question: who benefits when the real governance issues are replaced with a personality story that simply isn’t supported by the record? Unity built on sand collapses. Integrity and accountability aren’t optional. thecanary.co/opinion/2025/1…

Something odd is happening across sections of the Left media - and it’s time to talk about it. This week, two platforms repeated almost identical claims about the four male Muslim IA MPs: Novara’s Helena (11 mins): youtu.be/TlcSYRfFc5Q?si… “Single-issue on foreign policy… not socialist.” Michael Walker (12 mins): “If you don’t have an economic policy to unite you, the socialists will take you apart.” Turn Left’s Curtis Daley (15:50 onwards): youtu.be/Oujfw4vJo8g?si… “It sounds like they just want a Gaza party.” “You don’t need to join a political party if you only agree on one thing.” “I reject purism - you don’t need to agree on 10/10 things, but you do need to agree on more than one.” These are strong claims. Delivered with absolute confidence. And they are completely contradicted by the parliamentary record. The four male IA MPs have voted consistently for: • higher windfall taxes • higher capital gains tax • stronger tenants’ rights • anti-austerity protections • public energy and public investment • stronger workers’ rights • climate regulation • free breakfast clubs & nationalised teacher pay • limits on punitive welfare surveillance • opposing the proscription of Palestine Action This is a recognisable left economic programme. It’s simply false to call them “single issue” or “Gaza only”. And here’s the part that should concern anyone who cares about the state of our media: All three commentators made the same error in the same direction using the same language while ignoring easily checkable data. This isn’t a one-off mistake. It’s a pattern across some of our left media. - Curtis Daley has openly joined the Greens. - The Canary’s editorial tone shifted sharply after a major investor joined the board (who also sits on another board with Andrew Feinstein). - And Novara, having never fully reckoned with its role in the AS debacle, cannot afford another major factual collapse - yet here we are. So people are right to ask: What exactly is driving these narratives? Why are so many “left media” voices producing the same inaccuracies at the same time? And why does the sloppiness always seem to flow in one very specific political direction?

@ZackPolanski Not really? Rod for own back springs to mind. Anyway, solution: Revert the ID markers to birth sex, and ideally revoke all the GRCs. Voila - everyone has ID that reflects their actual sex 👍 Use that to permit/deny access to spaces. Not complicated.

One of the strange things we've been seeing since the ceasefire is the massive influx of new smartphones entering Gaza. Before the war, devices never entered in such huge quantities. Their prices are also not affordable and very high. The photos below show entire crates filled with new phones, and another shipment of large quantities of laptops that arrived just yesterday. No one understands why essential items are restricted, yet luxury electronics enter so easily.

My constituent is one of six political prisoners on hunger strike, demanding the right to a fair trial and the de-proscription of Palestine Action. I have written to David Lammy to demand urgent action. The government knows the truth: the weight of history is against them.

73-year-old Nick Georges was attacked during a pro-Palestine demonstration in Egham, Surrey, on October 15, 2025. He sustained serious injuries, including a fractured skull, which required surgery. The incident occurred on New Wickham Lane during a small, peaceful vigil organized by the West Surrey Palestine Solidarity Campaign (WSPSC), of which Mr. Georges is a member. The group had attached banners to a bridge and was displaying Palestinian flags. A confrontation ensued when another group approached the activists. Mr. Georges was assaulted after he intervened in the confrontation. He suffered a fractured skull and other injuries, for which he later needed surgery. Surrey Police were called to the scene at approximately 5:15 pm following reports of the assault.

🚨 A US Embassy official visited Mohammed last week and gave his father a terrifying update. Said he is “not doing good at all,” has black circles under his eyes, more weight loss, and that guards beat him when he tried to wave to his father on the courtroom security camera. Whatever he saw was serious enough that, after nine months, he suddenly escalated Mohammed’s medical case to Israeli authorities.

Judge was reportedly planning to sentence Mohammed to two years. His family brought in a new lawyer, who requested the delay to negotiate a deal instead of accepting that absurd punishment. The lawyer meets the prosecutor Thursday, with the next hearing Dec 15. U.S. pressure is critical now. Links below.
