Not a day passed without seeing Ahmed. Our neighbor back home and in displacement. An engineer trying to work in his field like anyone else, always smiling despite the struggle on his way to find power and internet. Ahmed was martyred yesterday. Ahmed is not a number. Never ever.

Imagine having a home, or just ruins of it, still standing after 3 years of war. In a dark, destroyed city, that shelter makes you feel like the richest person alive. Then, the “Yellow Line” creeps forward secretly, and suddenly your house is under occupation control. It feels like being buried alive. Like they killed the very last piece of hope you were holding onto just to survive. Now you must displace again. When there are no tents left, no safe places, and no empathy. Nobody can help anyone anymore. Wake up. Save what remains of Gaza.
