LARPing is the best way to become a trader. For every trading session I wear a suit and a bald cap and pretend I’m Tom Hougaard. I try to imagine I’m him and make decisions that he would make. I started it as a joke but have made too much money trading like this so I do it for every trading session.

We still have the intraday bearish trendline on $XAUUSD & $XAGUSD that needs to be respected as usual. So you already know the plan: either buy for the short-term bounce targeting those levels or wait for price to reach the trendline area for potential sell setups. Let the price come to the levels and react first, then execute accordingly.

Gold will only push toward a new ATH if we see a real escalation in the US–Iran conflict like actual combat or a major geopolitical shock during the week, not just the usual weekend drama. We’ve seen this same cycle over the past year.... weekend drama create fear, then things cool off once the week starts. Did you forget how this market behaves or have you simply not been around long enough to see it play out? That’s exactly why I told my group not to marry this bullish just because of the weekend tensions. Right now, there’s no fresh bullish driver for gold besides that conflict risk. - Fed rate cuts are already largely priced in. - The US economy is still growing, even if the data is mixed. - No major geopolitical escalation at the moment. - Tariffs were mostly noise last month. That’s why I’ve been selling gold since Monday, while some “mentors” keep shouting about new ATHs.
