This semester my partner and I had the opportunity to present a workshop on culture and point of view to a 7th grade ELA class. Our focus was on how our environments influence the way we are, the stories we tell, and the values we hold. #ED204SLP @CCMMSRedwolves

@toxikpedagogy That looks Awesome! Breathing is very important and is something that students ought to take more advantage of! Times are stressful, and yet we hold our breathes to get by too often. Very Niice!

We showed students that mindfulness can be practiced using breathing through a variety of activities, including movement, drawing, and song. My subgroup engaged in dancing and flexibility exercises. Below the student's worked on scapula mobility! #ED204SLP 3/3

I like how this shows the utility of the design process in our lives no matter the complexity, even on a paper airplane ! It got me thinking, maybe this process is subconscious sometimes? Regardless, really nice stuff!

Although we put more emphasis on presenting and interacting, we allowed options for paper and pencil enjoyers! Everyone learns in their own way 👐💪💪

Not only did we teach, but we learned a bunch too! I learned that students tend to reflect your energy more than you think! Overall, it was by far the highlight of my semester. Peace and Love! (2/2)
