Spoke to my parents this morning. Like many Iranians, I feel a strange mix of relief and heartbreak watching America bomb the murderous regime that has strangled our people for decades. This pressure is necessary if we ever want to see this hateful government gone once and for all, but my own family is still in Iran, living under those same skies. My aunts in Tehran had to evacuate into shelters during the strikes. I pray that one day I can go back to my country, walk those streets with my kids for the first time, and show them an Iran that looks nothing like the Iran we are watching on fire today.
