@BADGEPLUG Steals were so dog shit this year. Defense in general. 2k makes it way to easy to combo and shoot tempo but playing defense has zero bail outs

If you got the choice to personally remove 1 thing from NBA 2K26 so that NBA 2K27 doesn’t have it, what would it be?

@Reggie_FBK @TrippyTrill17 @BADGEPLUG Rhythm shooting was in the game last year, too, when we had to green both the timing and the tempo. But nobody used it. As someone who used it all year last year, I can tell you it wasn’t an issue. It’s only a problem this year because of Zens and this is the easiest shooting 2K.

If they made tempo timing matter AND have the same shot contest as shooting with button i doubt many people would use tempo. They use it because they know its easier than button and you green more because the constest doesnt register as much when shooting with tempo. Both zens and tempo need to be removed. A billion dollar company that can track every single thing done on their game should find a way to stop them. The report system doesnt even work in 2k. Thats how i know they didnt care this year. People with "iamzenning" in their name have not been banned.... If 2k doesnt stop the cheaters and take out the exploit shooting and bring back actual skill to make shots then this will be an arcade game. Everyone making everything. No competition and it will be boring by November which works because then we go to GTA 6 lol

@Joeeee100 @BADGEPLUG I refuse to believe that. Those tournaments always find a way to limit the players. I get that the cheats use tempo shooting, but saying the feature should be removed is insane. It’s the easiest shooting 2K we’ve ever had, and tempo isn’t the reason for that.

@JittPerked And no one cared about Rhythm shooting last year as much as this year and that’s only because of the cheaters

If 2K27 is going to be a great game tempo shooting needs to be removed and pro play has to go

@choc Tempo shooting goes and then what. The game is still full of canned animations, bad AI, layup contests that make no sense. Ppl being able to hit open shots is the least of my concern, yall must’ve forgot when ppl were on 2K20 button shooting on 2-way slashers with a 60 3 ball
