Sir, tv channels put out what has demand. Netflix debuts a pilot season of a show and gets a feel for if that random show has a view market. Dumbass shows like "Kardashians" or dating shows like "the bachelor" excites women and gets more views than professional top level athletes. Wnba has been around longer than netflix. Now if we want to have a conversation about who does better marketing for their shows thats a good debate but tv channels/ streaming platforms will put out shows depending on their viewership. If views are low then of course access to them will be lower. But the games that do have access arent getting the numbers to make the tv stations say wow we need to give wnba more access airtime. Supply and demand

Just a few years ago every women’s NCAA tournament games started being shown. ESPN has invested heavily into the women’s game recently. Yes today it is. A decade ago it wasn’t.

I dont like narratives that enable victim or woo is me mentality because in todays world the playfield is actually pretty accessible IF SOMEONE WANTS TO ACCESS IT.

@Reggie_FBK @Jayblaze43 @ShamsCharania Women can’t watch or read about women’s teams if they aren’t being reported on or covered. For decades men’s sports receive 95% of the coverage verse 5% for the women. Pretty tough to be equal when the deck is stacked against you that heavily.

Im speak on the opposite gender who actively complains about the difference in pay between men and women. But at the same time are not contributing towards the solution to help close that gap.

I think you might be wrong. I see a ton of women at Lynx/Wolves/Gopher basketball games. Maybe Minnesota is different?
