@LumoTravel Is this train still stuck? I am on the 12.41 (Stevenage) service to Waverley and wondering what is going to happen

@mai_lin_nguyen I think this is hard to read for students, yet again of course, for any obstacle you come across it is in fact your fault for not pre-empting and enacting a solution before it occurs. Having meetings (productive and helpful ones, that empower the student) is the bare minimum

Profs, it is LITERALLY YOUR JOB to meet with your students and provide feedback. If you are unable to do the absolute minimum of your job, you should not be a PI. Yes, grad students should be proactive about their PhD. But again, advising phds is literally the PI’s job.

@ProfRachelGaN We had to buy this a Pearson tb at Edinburgh for Maths for Science and Engineering... of course it was in the library but you needed a new individual copy for online homework code

Friday WIP! Started work on a tool to illustrate crystal surfaces based on their Miller index. Here's it semi-working for a primitive cubic lattice. CH4 molecules for extra effect, because I felt nostalgic for my graphene growth days...😋 #b3d #ScienceTwitter #sciart

I'm dusting off my old physical chemistry notes to develop a course and thinking of sharing some key insights into the quantum world in simple terms from time to time, which might be useful for non-physicist students. #Quatumfornonphysicists

Thinking about self management again. What is your favourite way to capture, sort, and manage your to-dos? How do you keep track of everything?

Having a fantastic time at #F22MRS! Really enjoying the diversity of symposia and the dynamic science going on globally. Very happy to present my poster on insitu metrology and targeted design of perov single crystals. Thanks @NanoDTC for funding. @TheHofmannGroup, @StranksLab
