@Alickaard @videotechuk_ Trueee, also they had review copies go out about 2 weeks earlier I believe. Why didn’t they make those changes then? were the reviewers not saying anything about it or what. Still love the game though. it’s not perfect by any means but I enjoy it despite those problems

I'd argue that DSP is not just the worst kind of gamer, he's also the worst kind of consumer. GIVE ME THING NOW is a horrible mentality. It's easy to see why he gets so frustrated with games when he wants to work for nothing. Not that he could anyways, he's also terrible at that.

@videotechuk_ The game didnt even have a inventory hot key on MNK at launch.... WHO TF FORGETS THAT IN AN RPG GAME?!?! So yes they fixed some things quick.. but why were some of these things even issues in the first place?

@videotechuk_ I mean they could've also waited to release the game for like a week and had all this fixed aswell... tired of spending $70 on games to QA test them for the devs. Even worse ppl are normalizing and even praising it now.. Release now fix it later mentality needs to GO!!

As someone who owns a PS and a PC. I play everything on PC before my Playstation. 60 fps is just complete ass after gaming on 150+ fps for years. I'll happily drop a tad bit of graphic fidelity for a smoother higher frame gameplay. Ps ain't running nothing at 120 fps solid or even close.

Crimson Desert PS5 and PS5 Pro equivalent PC settings. PS5 Pro will soon be $800 and it would still be a good price for it.

@ScragtheScav @K__Med I dont think you have to make a linear game to write an actual story for a game. Or even try to do so tbh. It would have just built the world better. Rather than hey just drop into this random world that's a weird unexplained mix of sci fi and fantasy.

@K__Med The devs said from the beginning that it’s not a story drive linear rpg like the Witcher or KCD . it’s an open world sandbox game where exploration is the main focus . You don’t have to do any of that stuff… you can start right off and go do what you want .

Still about 7 hours too long before it gets good and it's not like there's a build up for story purposes or anything to keep the carrot on a stick either. Wonder if they can do anything to change the onboarding and get you into shit like this, sooner.

@K__Med Idk im 16 hours in and its still kinda stale NGL. The exploration is cool. But for me personally since the story is non existant game feels kinda just empty. I can def see how the game was originally gunna be an MMO. Not a bad game just not as hyped about it as many ppl are.

@Glassdoorgamer As someone who has gamed on pc for a few years now. 2 decade long console gamer before that. 60 fps is ASS.. looks like shit going back to it from pc 150+ fps. Tried to set a game locked at 60 and it gave me major nausea lol

@TreybaileTV I mean you spent $150 on a 2k game and expected it to be good in any manor.. brother you are COOKED! 2k games are trash!! All of them, every sports game dev before 2k was miles better.

Very disappointing and I’ve been trying to hold my tongue real bad but….. $150 was a waste of fucking money this year…..this game feels like 2K25 with a ringside pass added to it, a weak ass showcase mode, a weak ass my rise story with little to no effort…. It’s time we start holding them accountable!

@Grummz Bethesda would've taken months or years tbh. Love their games but dang are western devs slow at patching things or just never do at all sadly.

Crimson Desert patch is bigger than I thought. You never see Western Devs patch this fast. Bethesda would have taken weeks. Velocity is a superpower.
