@shauseth Yup, the most efficient way to achieve true HPC. I do too, but typically at a small scale these days.

Comma AI turns your car into a self-driving car. Their $999 device mounts on your windshield, plugs into your car, and runs openpilot, their open-source driving software. It works on 325+ supported cars and has already driven 300M+ miles with 20K+ users. I did a Rapid Fire with Comma AI CPO @adeebshihadeh to understand how they’re building it. @comma_ai

@stewartlynch8 I may practice an avalanche of complexity comes from the first 9 after a period. 99.% is manageable, 99.9% gets excruciatingly much harder and more complex.

Everything that's wrong with modern software can be summed up in two words: "Unnecessary Complexity" Programming languages, project structure, build systems. libraries, performance, team structure, all suffer from this. Unnecessary complexity affects most human activities. Just look at politics and the legal system. We try and solve every problem by adding something new which just adds another set of problems. But programming has a particular problem because programmers usually self select for enjoying complexity. We enjoy being able to understand something complex and get it working. We are engineers of probably the most complex structures humans have ever created. Because of this it's our job to fight complexity where ever we can. There will always be complex problems where we do need to flex our brains, but everywhere else we need to strive for simplicity. Complexity is the enemy of good software.

FSD v14.3.2 gets a perfect score 50/50 from Dan O’Dowd. Bullish!
Dan O'Dowd@RealDanODowd

BREAKING: Tesla self-driving finally passed @RealDawnProject's school bus test! On 50 out of 50 test runs, FSD 14.3.2 correctly stopped for the stopped school bus. After three years of campaigning, New York Times ads and Super Bowl commercials, Tesla has finally done the right thing and fixed this egregious safety defect. However, HW3 Teslas running FSD v 12.6.4 will still illegally blow past the stopped school bus and run down a child crossing the road. @ElonMusk, if the defects can't be fixed on the current hardware, FSD should be disabled until those vehicles have been upgraded. @aelluswamy, your next task is to stop FSD 14 from speeding in school zones.

That is possible in theory, but for normal dieting it is usually not the main explanation. Feeling worse early in a diet is more commonly from boring but real causes: calorie deficit, less carbohydrate/glycogen water, electrolyte shifts, dehydration, caffeine/sugar withdrawal, worse sleep, harder workouts, or eating too little protein/iron/magnesium/etc. Calorie restriction can affect energy, cognition, metabolism, and physiology, and dehydration/electrolyte problems can cause weakness, headache, dizziness, and fatigue.

Your body stores toxins in fat cells to protect vital organs. When you start losing weight, those toxins get released back into circulation. This is why some people feel WORSE when they first start eating better and dropping weight. Support detox pathways: • Hydration • Fiber • Cruciferous vegetables • Sauna • Quality sleep Weight loss is more than calories in/out.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA One of the hard parts of operating a drone with a some sort of heavy weight is a lot of inertia. You simply can't do acrobatic moves.

🇦🇪 The UAE just made AI a co-executive of its government. PM Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced 50% of federal services will run on autonomous AI within 2 years. Not assisted by AI, but run by it. Ministers will be evaluated on how fast they implement it. Most countries are still debating AI ethics, while the UAE is already grading its politicians on adoption speed.
