FSD V14.3.4 Hand held stop sign test #4 Disobeying the flagger? I’m really curious how you would interpret this behavior. I keep the STOP sign raised the entire time while slowly shifting my weight and switching the sign from one hand to the other. Each time I switch hands, FSD nudges forward slightly, almost as if it’s preparing to go. One time even backing up to reset itself. After several hand switches, FSD decides to proceed even though I’m still holding the STOP sign up. It's quite obvious it's taking cues from more than just the stop sign. @OGMarsLife and I did a series of interesting tests with the latest FSD and we’ll be showing more results @tesla_ai Telemetry visualized with @CamCutApp

Alright just subbed our Model Y to FSD. I’m gonna try to make Mew proud as we hopefully see v14 when it starts working its way around. Looks like we’ll be rocking v12.6.4 in the meantime. I’ll work on getting some videos flowing 🫡

@OGMarsLife @ramonng_ Working on the MacOS app right now and if there is enough interest for Android growth with the iOS app would consider building it. Time is the biggest factor for me

Here’s a solid example of the lightning quick scan and response time that FSD is capable of. Going near 60 mph on this dark highway I could barely notice this pile of debris until I was right on top of it, but FSD saw it just in time and took appropriate evasive action avoiding what would have been a nasty hit at the very least. @Tesla_AI Edited with @CamCutApp

I know it was raining but @Tesla FSD could have accelerated more aggressively here without any issues. At least it didn’t pull out in front of the semi at that speed. Recovered reasonably, but even better to avoid the scenario. And, yes the @FedEx driver was watching a video on his phone mounted by the window when I passed him.

🚗✨ Smooth FSD Supervised magic in the Netherlands near my house. 🇳🇱 Watch as Tesla confidently handles traffic, slows for a construction tractor on the right, gives space to cyclists, and merges seamlessly, all while staying calm and in control. Speed drops naturally then resumes without drama. This is real-world Level 2+ autonomy doing its thing. Impressive safety and composure. It’s ready for more countries. 🇪🇺 🧿 #Tesla #FSD #FullSelfDriving #AutonomousDriving #EV

CRITICAL FSD disengagement at highway speed. Details: ~ car was extremely indecisive taking the exit ~ You can see right before I disengaged, the steering wheel was turning slightly left toward the barrier ~ also waited until the very last minute, cutting across 4 lanes to make the exit in under 10 seconds ~ I believe it was going to drive into the barrier ~ Mad Max mode ~ The car behind me was cut also about to collide due to this indecisiveness ~ FSD v14.3.4 on 2026.14.6.12 ~ Completely sunny day, sun was above not in frony (no glare) ~ All cameras were clean ~ Houston I am a very grateful and avid FSD user, but never in my 3 years of usage have I experienced such a critical disengagement. I made sure to mark it as critical in the menu. Also, the video clip doesn't really justify how much I had to swerve and avoid that barrier, also having to accelerate hard since the car behind me didn't expect that. Please repost and share so @Tesla_AI can see this and fix it 🙏 @elonmusk

So… starting to do a little digging on this v14 lite. My Model 3 Mew is out of commission. Has been for a couple months now. But our Y is running strong and my main way of doing what I do with ride-share. Haven’t had a reason to sub it to FSD. Things may be changing.

@KelleyToons When you say would have acted just fine what do you mean? Would have gotten over way in advance or would not have hesitated or both?

@edgecase411 Almost certainly Mad Max which should NOT be used (particularly on a freeway). Standard would have acted just fine here.

Some behind the scenes footage, sped 4x, of my FSD 14.3.4 testing on the streets of LA. In this clip you see @edgecase411 @Muzeishen and I experiment with placing props - boxes, caution strip, stop sign, and more that we went on to test. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot (bonus points LA weather was dope). Soundtrack by @suno AI (first try 🙏) Theme: Upbeat Tesla/Robotaxi anthem ("Age of Abundance").

@OGMarsLife @GrumpyTechBro I mean you can’t really assume someone will keep in the same hand. It’s not like humans don’t get tired and switch hands.

@GrumpyTechBro @edgecase411 Interesting. If I was the Flagler I’d just flip it held in the same hand. More efficient then switching to other hand.

@edgecase411 The sign has nothing to do with it. It will stop for the guy standing that close to the path. Twice I've had it stop for pedestrians *on the sidewalk on the LEFT* because it thought they might continue approaching.

@edgecase411 @OGMarsLife Put the stop sign on a post where it would normally be at a 4 way stop. Have the flagged wave the car through and see it will follow the hand signals as long as the coast is clear

@edgecase411 These tests are pointless though. In the real world you won't have a scenario where someone is changing the hand the stop sign is in. Testing for nothing

Lolol. Yeah. The interesting thing is that if you did have that, this scenario might not be discovered of you hadn't just had one person and a couple of cones lol. I'd be up for paying towards it a bit. But it's maybe easier to chat up some kind construction team to try it when it's quiet for "5 mins" 😁

I think it’s just the nature of the videos it was trained on. I bet body weight shifting and switching the hand usually followed flipping the sign around so it anticipates that situation But yeah humanoid robots have a lot more ambiguous situations that they need to make the right call on 100% of the time

@edgecase411 That’s quite interesting! Can it be Tesla FSD believed it’s being teased and decided to get serious 😂 My concern would be for AI such as humanoid robots that eventually makes its own decisions disobeying human owners, that would be dangerous
