Market cap matters when an asset is used to STORE value.
But when an asset is used to MOVE value, liquidity matters far more.
That’s why the “XRP can’t reach X price because the market cap would be too big” argument misses the point.
Market cap is simply price × circulating supply, it doesn’t represent the actual money entering the market.
What really drives price is available liquidity.
A large portion of XRP isn’t actively tradable:
• escrow
• long-term wallets
• institutional holdings
Locked XRP can’t provide liquidity or move value in the market.
So price is driven by the XRP actually available to trade, not the entire supply.
Low liquidity + rising demand = fast price moves.
