@elonmusk No, it doesn't. And you've picked a very strange point in human history to broadcast this message while ignoring the debate and accelerating the concentration of wealth and the disparity between the majority and the wealthy. Ohhh, I get it... You're not counting the majority...

@elonmusk unless all the manufacturers & merchants raise the prices regardless of their decreased overhead and use the extra profit to astroturf the attention space and oligopolize the markets like they always have done.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@RouxBourbon @Casper101Susie It is hubris to assume that your interpretation of whichever translation of whichever religious doctrine that you've been reading is unquestionably the gospel truth and the word of God. If that is the only perspective you're willing to consider, you will eventually become violent

@RouxBourbon @Casper101Susie You must mean it's not found in the Torah or the Holy Bible or the Tanakh or the Quran. It is most certainly found in the universe, and there are many Christians, Jews, and Muslims who believe that "the word of God" is all that exists; that is, reality itself IS the word of God.

@elonmusk We already are "among the stars" and I doubt anyone will ever choose to condemn their own descendants to generations of life on a star-ship in search of 'whatever'. If it ever happens, it will be a Wall-E / Galactica situation that causes it. Unless we figure out FTL travel.

@spirituallock I refuse to believe even 5% know what the hell is going on. I could believe that at least 5% of people believe that they know what the hell is going on, and that would be easy to explain, and surely unnecessary.

@QuanticASI No-one is loved by no-one. Then you ask: What if no-one knew this person existed or that they were killed? Then I say: No-one can know that there is no suffering in death. The real question is whether or not it is unethical to deprive someone of opportunity (to live). I say it is

is killing someone unethical? let's assume there exists a person who knows no-one, is loved by no one, has no kids/job/responsibilities... a person who is truly an island would it be unethical to painlessly and suddenly kill this person? nothing in the world would change and they would not take issue with the action due to their deceased status

@RouxBourbon @Casper101Susie That being said... if "it" is truly the "word of God" being written "thru" chosen humans, then how could it ever be gotten wrong? Wouldn't the word of God be infallible, no matter how many times it were translated or even interpreted? Was it ever even meant to be written down?

@RouxBourbon @Casper101Susie Whether you believe that God created all, or that God -is- all, it was still only human beings who ever wrote anything down in either case. If you believe that Jesus Christ was a human incarnation of God, no written material is attributed to Him. Either way, God didn't write.
