Some folks are posting a potential rapture date of Pentecost, May 24, 2026, which is 1993 years from Pentecost on May 24, AD 33. This is based on the belief that the 2000 years are to be measured from the cross and then the 7 years of tribulation subtracted. Several mistakes are made here, however, that are problematic. First of all, May 24 is Catholic Pentecost, not Jewish Pentecost. Jewish Pentecost this year actually begins at sundown May 21. If the rapture is going to be associated with Pentecost, it will be Jewish Pentecost not Catholic Pentecost. Secondly, Pentecost in AD 33 actually happened on May 25. This means that both dates are wrong and that the cool date pattern is off four days. This doesn't surprise me. This kind of sloppiness (mixing calendars, confusing dates, fudging the math) is par for the course in the date setting / high watch world. Thirdly, it is an assumption that we should be measuring the 2000 years from the cross. I will not be a bit surprised if we blow right through 2026 and the final year of the rapture window. This will not overthrow the 2000 year theory, It only suggests that we aren't supposed to measure from the cross. I think we should measure from when the Jewish remnant became the one new man, which is when the first Gentile received the New Covenant Spirit and was added to the body of Christ. Fourthly, it is an assumption that the rapture will happen on a feast day. The precedent in the Scriptures is that the head of the church ascended to heaven 40 days after Passover and 10 days prior to Pentecost. If the head didn't go to heaven on a Jewish feast day, then the body, most likely, won't go to heaven on a Jewish feast day. May God help us all to watch for the soon coming of the Lord without the cool theories that train men to be sensationalistic and sloppy AND set them up for disappointment. We have enough frustrations in the world already. We don't need to add the frustrations of busted rapture hopes.

I read the most profound thing I think I've ever read about European support for "Palestine," and I don't think I'll be able to unsee it now. It's that by imagining Palestine to be real and the victim of Jewish colonialism and genocide, they can imagine Jews as the actual Nazis and thereby assuage themselves of their overwhelming guilt for the 20th century, not to mention a long and ugly history before. By finding a way to stain the Jews and Israel with those same moral evils they themselves feel the weight of, but for imaginary instead of genuine reasons, Europeans can not only remove but reverse the mark of the evil they inflicted on Jews over their entire history, not remotely least during the Holocaust. Thus, and only thus, can they forgive themselves for their unforgivable sins, but like everything Leftist, it's empty and inverted.

@AllScript_Alone That happened to my hijacked @aspree_berean account in November. Overnight, someone from Indonesia locked me out and started promoting bitcoin. The so-called "X Support" is nonexistent, and my account that I've had for a decade is now suspended.

Someone other than myself logged into my X account last night while I was asleep. They were from a different state, and a device brand/type I don't even own. I'm having problems resetting my password, so somethings said/done by me in the future may not actually be me.

The reformers were focused on debating and correcting Rome's soterological and ecclesiastical errors rather than working through errors related to Mary.

@AllScript_Alone @farmingandJesus I don't think you can name three Christians in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ...up to 15th cent, who dissented from the universal Christian acceptance of Mary's lifelong virginity. Tell me why Luther, Zwingli or Cranmer thought the lifelong virginity of Mary was theologically necessary.
