Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are on vacation right now with the rest of the Senate RINOs. They're not publicly demanding Thune's ouster which means they're ok with part of DHS unfunded during wartime and they're OK with the SAVE Act not being passed. Their performative BS on X is just that ... a performance to mislead the public. Their silence says they're ok with these little pro forma sessions every couple of days so Trump can't get his recess appointments. We dont need another swampy AG. A state audit of Memphis-Shelby County Schools identified over $1.1 MILLION in waste, fraud, and abuse. Memphis students deserve better. I am grateful state officials are taking action to rectify this and get Shelby County schools back on the right track.

Great nations would never allow their enemies to illegally invade, drop a couple million babies, and them immediately declare that the enemy’s progeny magically have the exact same rights as the soldiers fighting to protect the homeland. That is not something a great nation would ever do. The acceptance of the Trojan horse offering from the Greeks is viewed as the perfect emblem of how a nation can be doomed by its own strategic ineptitude. But recall that the Trojans were tricked by the Greeks. Of course Troy never would have allowed the Greeks to enter the city had they know the gift’s true nature. Only a laughable nation full of morons destined to be a footnote of history would have intentionally invited its enemy inside to destroy it from within. Yet that is exactly what Chief Justice John Roberts argued by implication today during oral arguments over birthright citizenship. Roberts suggested that America—the greatest nation in history—enacted a law (which its own authors say did not apply to foreigners or aliens) effectively telling the Greeks they didn’t even need to go to the trouble of building fake horses. All they had to do to eventually outnumber and conquer Troy was make sure enough Greek woman had their babies inside the city’s walls. Why defeat a nation militarily when you can just slip across its borders, birth an army that magically has the power to determine who runs your enemy’s government, and take over the whole thing without firing a shot in anger? A great nation would never be so stupid as to do such a thing. And America never did. The 14th amendment’s text makes it clear. The statements of its author at the time make it clear. The legislative and judicial history at the time make it clear. A great court would never sentence a great nation to its own demise by declaring that an enemy can unilaterally make its own children full citizens of its foe simply by invading and bearing children there. And a great chief justice of a great court of a great nation would never allow such an absurdity to rule that nation.

The left’s argument for birthright citizenship is obviously insane but it’s even more insane when you consider that they actually don’t believe in your or my “birthright.” We are on stolen land and don’t belong here, according to them. But the anchor baby whose parents got here from Guatemala 10 seconds ago has a “birthright” and is tied to this nation by blood for all time. That’s actually their position. Except Jackson. She wrote a 35-page dissent. Eight justices needed fewer pages to explain the law than she needed to explain why they were all wrong. And read it aloud from the bench. Turning the court into a spectacle. Then Kagan, Obama's appointee, publicly corrected her. Called the case "textbook" viewpoint discrimination. Accused Jackson of "reimagining and collapsing well-settled legal distinctions." Jackson fired back in a footnote. Accused Kagan and Sotomayor of being dupes for the conservative majority. A Supreme Court justice calling her own colleagues political pawns. In a legal opinion. From the bench that exists to be above politics. Every time she loses, she turns on whatever allies she has left. Three separate 8-1 rulings across three years. Lone dissenter every time. Barrett wrote that Jackson "decries an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary." She has two liberal allies sitting right next to her. They looked at her reasoning and chose the law over her activism. Last term, every justice on the Court agreed with the majority more often than she did. Dead last of nine. In contested cases: 51%. Kagan, same team: 70%. One builds coalitions. One writes 35-page letters to nobody. Majority opinions: 5. Fewest on the Court. Dissents: 10. Most on the Court. Words per oral argument: 1,350. Next closest justice: 900. She talks the most. Writes the longest. Wins the least. Before the Supreme Court she spent eight years on the DC District Court. Case. Below guidelines. A judge is supposed to defend the Constitution. Not treat it as a document to be corrected. She praised the 1619 Project, which argues America's true founding wasn't liberty in 1776 but slavery in 1619. She wrote from the bench that "Our country has never been colorblind." Rejecting the plain meaning of the Equal Protection Clause. She accused the Court itself of enabling "our collective demise." "Let-them-eat-cake obliviousness." "Five-alarm fire." "Moneyed interests." These aren't legal opinions. These are campaign speeches from a chair that's supposed to be above campaigns. Harvard Law. A Supreme Court clerkship. Eight years on the federal bench. She told the Senate she doesn't have "a judicial philosophy per se." But she told the country she's "not afraid to use her voice." She's an activist. Weakest judge of the highest court. Biden had judges with more cases argued before the Court and bipartisan support. He passed over them for the nominee endorsed by Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and Demand Justice. She doesn't want to be a justice. She wants to be a politician. She just skipped the election.
