🙏 As we hit the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to say a proper thank you to everyone who’s helped make this year what it’s been at @AnfieldIndex. Long-read but essential words... It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind of games, pods, articles and deadlines, but none of this happens by accident, and none of it happens without people putting in the hours of graft and toil. First up, the voices most of you hear and see week in, week out. Our content kings on the podcast side: @daved0453, @downeytrev and @HendrickD82. Relentless output, ridiculous consistency, and a standard that keeps getting pushed higher. Behind the glass and keeping everything running smoothly, our production team: @NinaKauser, @guydrinkel and @JackMcIndoe. So much of what you enjoy simply wouldn’t exist without the work you do that very few ever see. On the site itself, keeping things sharp, accurate and readable, massive thanks to our editors @AnalyseSport and @benpescod_. Quietly vital roles, done brilliantly. For analysis, depth and genuine insight, we’re lucky to have some of the best around. Dan Kennett, @SimonBrundish, @Barts78 (Dr Phil Barter), and @HKhaliqueLoonat, who capped off the year as SJA Data Journalist of the Year. Proper work, proper thinking, proper standards. A special nod to our newer voices in 2025. @BeyondTheKop97 (Lewis Aspinall) and @StatesideScouse (Ross Carper), who helped us expand our horizons with a new USA-focused pod this year. Fresh perspectives and a lot of hard work getting something new off the ground. Huge credit as well to @GrizzKhan and the whole panel involved in The Red Room reboot on YouTube. Bringing a panel show back to life in a new format is no small task, and it’s been great to see it grow again. Behind the scenes on the news, website and social side, thank you to Jiya Tandon, Darren Lewis, Matty Powell and Greg Murphy. A lot of unseen graft that keeps the whole machine moving day to day. On the management side, myself, @GagsTandon and @ghopcroft remain incredibly grateful to everyone who contributes their time, effort and talent. Without that wider team, we really are just shouting into the void. Whether it’s appearances, support, behind-the-scenes help, ideas, admin, moderation, or simply being there when needed, Anfield Index has always been better for the people around it. A genuine thank you to: @SamMcGuire90 @StevLFC @TadPredicts @JimBoardman @jayreid1987 @Hari_Sethi @harinder77 Dr Andrew Vincent @AllenOd101 @KamBrainchy @lmariemh @karlmatchett Sir @kennethdalglish @JanMolby @davidlynchlfc @LewisSteele_ And to anyone I’ve missed along the way, not through lack of appreciation but because this place has grown so much over the years. Your efforts, however visible or invisible, are valued more than you probably realise. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who reads, listens, watches and engages with what we do. Quite simply, without you, there is no Anfield Index. And a very special thank you to those of you who pay to subscribe to @AnfieldIndexPro. You’re a loyal bunch. While we could always do with a few more of you, it’s your hard-earned cash that genuinely allows us to keep doing this, day in, day out. Here’s to 2026. Happy New Year to you and your families. Let’s make it a great one, on and off the pitch. #YNWA ❤️ #JFT97 🕯️ #Forever20 🫶
